U-Pick Tulips
Our 2026 Tulip season will be the largest u-pick to date.
We generally open around March 25th.
Dewberry Farm hosted it's first U-Pick Tulips in 2018. Our first year, we planted 40,000 tulip bulbs, and in 2024, we planted 140,000 tulips. This year we planted 168,000 tulips in the field with an additional 8,000 in crates, 55 varieties, It is going to be amazing!! We are the largest U-Pick Tulips in North Carolina.
Tulips are an early-Spring flower, we generally open around March 25 to April 10th. Bloom time depends on weather. Please follow us on social media for field up dates.
Tickets
Pre-purchased tickets are required, you must purchase online prior to entry. All tickets are nonrefundable, the farm stays open in rain or shine, please dress for the weather. If you can't make it, you may gift your ticket to someone.
Tickets are for two-hour increments, you must arrive in your ticket time but can stay after.
Admission
Adults are $15.00 ( 3 tulips included)
Children over 2 are $5.00. (no tulips included)
All extra tulips are $1.50 per stem. We will not be selling the tulip bulbs in the field, you can pick the tulip and bulb in the crate, tulip and bulb $2.00. We will also be selling tulip bulbs during our fall festival in October.
Included in your ticket price is parking, entrance to the gorgeous tulip field, the beautiful gardens, venue, farm, farm animals, picnic areas, and all our cute photo props.
Farm Store Items
We have several farm, garden and gift related items in our store, absolutely worth your stop.
Food and Beverage
Coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, water, soda, beer and wine. Hot fresh donuts, snacks, soups, homemade pizza and more.
We take cash, credit card, or Apple Pay.
No pets, service dogs only.
Please bring your clippers and something to put your flowers in. We will have buckets for you to purchase if needed.

Tulip Elopement
Celebrate your love surrounded by the beauty of spring at Dewberry Farm.
Our tulip season elopements are designed for couples who want an intimate, meaningful ceremony set among thousands of blooming tulips—simple, elegant, and unforgettable.
Elopements include a ceremony location within the tulip field for up to 16 guests, followed by time in a private reception area to celebrate with a bubbly toast and cupcakes.
These elopements take place during our public tulip season. While the farm will be open to visitors, your ceremony space is intentionally set apart to create a special and memorable experience.
Tulip season is brief, and elopement dates are extremely limited. We recommend inquiring early to secure your spot during this magical time of year.
Tulip Season Elopement — $1,500
This intimate elopement package includes:
• Ceremony location set within the tulip field
• Up to 16 guests
• Private reception area following the ceremony for 1 hour
• Bubbly toast with cupcakes
• Dressing room for the bride
• Champagne glasses provided
• Photographer fee waived, you are welcome to bring your own photographer
Available for a limited time during tulip season. Dates are limited.
Bulbs
You may pre-purchase bulbs for Fall pick-up.
Please do not dig up tulip bulbs in the tulip field.
When you dig up bulbs this early in the season, you damage the root system of the flower and all the tulips around it, causing them to die. Because the flower is getting picked, the bulb won't get the nutrients it needs to grow.
If you pick a tulip by accident, you cannot put it back in the ground. The tulip will die. Once you pick a tulip, it's yours. If you stick them back in the ground, it's a loss for the farm. It's like eating food and not paying for it, it's one of the reasons tulips are included in our admission price.
Entry Fee for U-Pick Tulips is $13 for adults and includes three tulips. Children over 2 is $5 and does not include flowers.
